Last Saturday, Fulham FC played Birmingham City FC in the Sky Bet Championship League as a starting act for what was to come! The Motspur Park U13 team faced the Craven Cottages greatest threat – the crossbar challenge…
Just a quick note to say congratulations to all the boys who participated and acted as outstanding ambassadors for the club. The boys travelled up to Craven Cottage to watch the game and complete in their challenge at half time. Together the boys walked out on the turf in front of over 18,000 spectators and in turn competed to strike the cross bar (in a full size goal) from the outside of the penalty arc.
We have had a great response from all of those who went and from spectators watching the game; stating what a credit the boys are to the club. Well done!
Finally, thank you to Fulham FC for providing us with the opportunity and hopefully you will be inviting another of our teams back soon.
